Reece Cargan Announced as National Coordinator for the UK by EAVE
Randan’s own Reece Cargan has officially been appointed as the National Coordinator for the UK by EAVE. Founded in 1988, EAVE is a professional training programme and networking organization for audiovisual producers that supports independent voices by helping to further develop projects.
This appointment comes after Reece’s participation in the EAVE Producer’s lab in 2022 with the feature project, ‘A Good Spell’ by Michael Lee Richardson.
When offered the appointment Reece said:
“I'm honoured to be appointed as National Coordinator for the UK.
Taking part in EAVE Producers Workshop was instrumental in furthering my career - by massively increasing gaps in my knowledge, giving me valuable project feedback and providing the best network of present and future collaborators. I left EAVE with a trusted, well-loved group of friends and a beautiful co-production with the Netherlands!
I'm beyond glad I can give something back to an organisation that helped me so much. I look forward to meeting all current and future applicants, EAVE tutors and the other national coordinators.”
As an EAVE ambassador, he’ll join 38 other professionals within the European film industry to represent and promote EAVE in their respective countries.
Later this month Reece will be attending Berlinale from 15th February to the 19th to present projects, network, and seek out future co-productions for Randan.
